Newly licensed · updated quarterly · 16 states

70,000+ contractors got licensed in the last 12 months. Reach them first.

A new license is a new business: first insurance policy, first supply account, first loan. This file is every contractor licensed in the last 12 months across the 16 states whose boards publish issue dates — verified at the source and enriched with phone, email, and website. Built for lenders, insurers, and suppliers who want the first call, not the fiftieth.

Those first accounts get decided in the first weeks — and they tend to stick for years. By the time a new contractor shows up in a lead database, they already picked an insurer, opened a supply account, and heard from every vendor working the same stale list. The lists sold as “fresh leads” can't tell you who's actually new, because a directory scrape has no memory: a 15-year-old company that changed its status looks identical to a business licensed last month. Provable newness requires watching the license boards over time. That's what we do.

CSV · delivered by email · no account
  • Every contractor whose license was issued within the last 12 months, verified against official state license boards — not scraped directories. The window rolls forward with every refresh.
  • Phone, email, and website enriched from public sources at delivery. Brand-new businesses can be sparse online in their first weeks; the license record itself (name, address, license number, issue date) is always complete.
  • License number, trade, city, state, ZIP, and issue date on every row — sliceable by state or trade in any spreadsheet.
  • Optional updates: add the quarterly continuation ($490/quarter) after purchase — each new quarter's licenses, deduped against everything you already have, delivered while they're still new. Next update ships with our September refresh, then quarterly.

Want to see the format first? Download a 15-row sample — real records in the exact delivery schema, contact fields redacted. The license numbers are real: pick any row and check it against the state board's own lookup.

How we know they're actually new

Every record's issue date comes from the state board itself — a contractor is in this file only when the board's own records show the license was issued within the last 12 months. We re-pull every board on a schedule, so the window rolls forward with each refresh and you're not paying for a 15-year-old company that changed status.

Common questions

Which states are included?

The 16 states whose license boards publish issue dates: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, LA, MA, MN, NY, OH, OR, PA, VA, WA. States whose boards don't publish an issue date can't prove a license is new, so they're excluded by design rather than padded in.

What's in the file?

Business name, license number, trade, city, state, ZIP, and issue date on every row, verified against the state board. Phone, email, and website are enriched from public sources at delivery — brand-new businesses can be sparse online at first, but the license record itself is always complete.

How do the quarterly updates work?

Optional, added after purchase for $490/quarter: each new quarter's licenses, deduped against everything you've already received, delivered while the contractors are still new. The next update ships with our September refresh, then quarterly.

How is it delivered?

As a CSV to your email after checkout — sliceable by state or trade in any spreadsheet, loadable into any CRM or dialer. No account and no platform to log into; the file is yours.
