Why verification matters
For a leak repair or water-heater replacement, ask what is included, who will perform regulated work and how hidden damage will be handled. Confirm credentials and permits for your jurisdiction.

Where this list comes from
Our Oklahoma roster uses covered records from Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB). A current source check is still needed. Counts describe records in that snapshot, not every business operating in the state.
A license or registration record is a starting point. Credential types and scope differ by jurisdiction; a listing does not establish today's status or authorization for every type of work.
Before hiring, match the business and credential number with the relevant authority, check scope and current status, and confirm local permits. Contacts and Google ratings, when present, are separate enrichment rather than licensing evidence.

Oklahoma: credentials and scope
Oklahoma CIB regulates electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades, and roofing registration. CIB states that Oklahoma does not currently require a state general-contractor license.
A roofing registration is a different credential from a skilled-trade license. CIB does not issue the project permit, so local permitting still needs a separate check.
Example: For a roof replacement, verify the roofing registration and any required commercial endorsement; do not search only the electrical or plumbing license list.
Do not look for a statewide general-contractor license that CIB does not issue
- For electrical, mechanical or plumbing work, check CIB’s appropriate licensed-trade record. For roofing, check the roofing registration and any endorsement relevant to the work.
- For general contracting, ask the project’s local office about requirements instead of concluding that a missing statewide GC record is a violation.
- Keep the permit inquiry separate: CIB does not issue project permits. Ask who will obtain the relevant local permits and which contractors will perform the regulated trades.
Example: a roof replacement contractor provides a registration number but also quotes mechanical work. Confirm the roofing record, then identify the mechanical license for that part rather than calling the registration an all-trade license.

Common questions about plumbers in Oklahoma
How do I research plumbers in Oklahoma?
Start with the authority for the trade and project locality. Match the exact business and credential number, check current status and scope, then ask about local permits, insurance and comparable work. A directory listing or rating does not complete those checks.
How many plumbers does the Oklahoma roster cover?
Our snapshot contains 1,797 records in this category. Records are not necessarily unique companies, and source coverage is not a census of every business in the state.
Where does this data come from?
Covered records come from Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB). License and registration types differ; check the credential that applies to your project. Contacts and ratings are separate enrichment where available.
What contact information is included?
Available fields can include phone, email, website and Google ratings. Availability varies by record and selection; an unavailable field is not a zero, closure or negative finding. Review the selected inventory before purchase.
What will my list cost and when will it arrive?
The current purchase flow shows the price for your selected territory and filters before checkout. Larger website orders are typically delivered within one business day. Custom research scope and delivery timing are agreed before purchase.
Does this list establish current license status?
No. The recorded source refresh date is 2026-09-03. This is a snapshot rather than a live-status guarantee. Verify the appropriate official record before hiring.
